Route description

Tim writes: Mam Tor is one of the higher tops of the Peak District and is actually incredibly easy considering its height.  It's also very easy to get to, so perfect for an 'after work walk' - which is just what we did tonight.

The weather was exceptional, as it has been for most of the summer during lockdown.  I met up with Craig and Matt, and parked on the road just below the steps up to Mam Tor's stone trig.

There's lots routes you can take, but considering the time, and factoring in that I'd already done a few miles around Delamere at 6am before work, we chose a short option and came back by Mam Farm, along the ruined road.

There were lots of people out enjoying themselves, which was great, paragliders, bbq's, walkers and bikers.  Great to see people out enjoying themselves!
