Great Hill, White Coppice

Popular with walkers and bikers, Great Hill, White Coppice is a lovely moorland walk set in the West Pennines above Chorley.  Park at White Coppice and walk through the cricket ground to reach the moors, which are  also called White Coppice.  As you climb  out of the tiny village the views across Lancashire open up and on a clear day you can see the Forest of Bowland to the north and the industrial towns of East Lancashire.

After reaching Great Hill you follow the same track to descend back into White Coppice.
