Route description

Tim writes (13/07/2020): This walk, near Chipping, was one of my earliest walks in The Forest of Bowland.

I, and my lad, Jack, set off from the red Phone Box near Lickhurst Farm, and headed up the road towards Dunsop Bridge, passing Knot Farm.  The route comes left off the road, over 'Turnstall Ing' and follows a track around to Dinkling Green Farm.

You then head back towards the phone box, passing 'Long Knots' along the way.

There's a picture of Jack peering through a window in the gallery because I remember finding a sheep trapped on the fence.  Nobody was in but we eventually manager to free it ourselves.

For one of our first, this was a short, enjoyable walk in the Forest of Bowland.
